Additional obligations not regulated by the statutes:

In 2025 – starting from March 31, if the membership fee has not been paid, the member will no longer have the right to request discounted participation fees for events.

Membership duration and termination

​

Membership status is valid indefinitely until the member submits a written notice at least 14 days in advance.
If the notice of withdrawal from membership is submitted in May, the right to terminate membership begins the following year.

For example:​

• If submitted on May 1, 2025 – you will no longer be an EKNO member from 2025.

• If submitted on January 1, 2025 – the right to terminate begins in 2026.

 

Note: The option to terminate membership is available only if you have fulfilled your obligations to EKNO (such as payment of membership fees and other duties).

Resignation and suspension of membership (as regulated in the statutes):

• 3.4.7 Must submit a written application to the board at least 14 days in advance to resign from EKNO or to suspend membership.

• 3.3.12 May suspend membership for a fixed period (for example, if you go abroad for 2 years or for another reason, you have the option to suspend membership).

 

Opportunities as a member:​

• participate in the general assembly

• exercise rights associated with the statutes

• attend EKNO events and receive discounted prices

• inquire about the activities of the EKNO board

• receive exemption from membership fees (for valid reasons)

• have the possibility of travel expense support (including travel abroad)

• organize events on behalf of EKNO or cooperate with another organization

• write projects, represent EKNO (in such cases only with board approval)

• present your own ideas and proposals
